A suit jacket has become an almost staple menswear piece, certainly when it comes to smarter wear. Much greater choice of design and style has accompanied that trend, to the point that the distinction between a suit jacket and a blazer is increasingly blurred.

Typically a suit jacket is what it says it is, a jacket that is part of a suit. The distinction comes however on that the jacket can also be worn on its own with chinos for example, suddenly creating a smart casual outfit from what was once a fairly formal attire. This opens so many possibilities and variations of jacket and trouser combinations.

You'll also want to consider where else it can be worn so it becomes more useful. Most jackets are pretty good for mixing and matching so don't get too stuck on that. I recently purchased the Skopes Doyle suit to wear to the Grand National. The fit was great and reasonably priced. While at the races 6 other people must think the same as me haha. Even though there were over 80,000 people there 7 is a great ratio. The suit does stick out in a crowd and I would thoroughly recommend it👍

The coat looks and feels superb. It was nicely packaged when it arrived, and the delivery updates were very helpful. I would've preferred a slightly slimmer/tapered fit around the mid section, but it fits perfectly around the shoulders and chest.

I spent a lot of time looking for the ideal winter coat, and wasted much of that time dealing with poor customer service (from other retailers), and going through lengthy, tedious, complicated, and expensive returns processes for coats that were not as advertised.

The service from Threadpepper was outstanding from start to finish, and I am delighted with my new coat. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great quality, well-priced coat from a trustworthy company.
